A Scalable Big Data Framework for Real-Time Traffic Monitoring System

Inthis study, a scalable and real-time intelligent transportation system based ona big data framework is presented. The proposed allows for the use ofexisting from road sensors to better understand traffic flow, travelerbehavior increase network performance. Our isdesigned process large-scale stream analyze events such asincidents, crashes, congestion. experiments performed on publictransportation modes of city Casablanca in Morocco reveal that theproposed achieves significant gain time, gathers datafrom many sensors, not expensive terms hardware resourceconsumption.
